the train goes choo choo.

i know what you're thinking...i went all the way to southampton, to go to ikea? when the train pulled into the station the two signs staring me in the face were ikea and john lewis. i have no idea what john lewis is. but, i thought what the h-e-double-hockey sticks...lets have dinner at ikea and compare notes. salmon fillet for dinner.

since when did ikea do shampoo and conditioner products?!!??!?!

i've never seen an ikea with four floors of parking. it was worth the climb to the top level as it gave a pretty good view of the harbour. 

here's my room for the night. super comfy bed. 

and super comfort companions.

watched a canadian skier race down a hill in whistler.

morning cappuccino after a short train ride from southampton. passing the time before my next appointment.

afterwards, back to the little railway station where i made my way back to the west midlands via a four and half train ride.

traveling via railway, passing through rural towns, sheep in the fields, whizzing past little deserted station platforms feeds my nostalgia for this country.  

sigh.

ahahahaha. i'm in my happy place. can't you see it all over my face?
