skype has got to be one of the coolest inventions ever.

i came home one day from work, channel surfed for a few seconds and stumbled upon a stoke city footie game against wales.

i thought i'd see if the ol' bear pops was online and...he was.

so i asked him, hey dad...wanna watch stoke city...live?

how? he says.

oh, just you wait and see.

now, mind you...the commentary was in welsh therefore we had no clue what anyone was saying. but bear pops wasn't bothered. it was just like old times when we used to watch the matches via satellite and drink coffee on saturday mornings. he was thrilled to see some live stoke city action.

even if it was an ocean away via skype.

technology has the ability to blow your mind sometimes.
