i had the best weekend.
the BEST.
weekend.
goodness, where does one start? well, it literally started when rachel picked yours truly up from the station friday evening. we were on our way to dinnerpartynumberone when i kept saying, wow, i used to live here. like...LIVE here. i guess i've lived in this country long enough to have created...memories. whoa.
there's loads of photos which means this is going to be a long post. quelle surprise. at least you can say, i'm consistent. and, i seem to be fond of the portrait shot this weekend. hmm. enjoy.
this night was night five of having fish/seafood for dinner. i announced to the group i was getting mercury poisoning. nobody seemed bothered. i'm still alive.
anybody remember this room? i lived with rachel for a couple of months before moving further along the coast, eastward. i kept saying to rachel when we got home...i mean, her flat (oh boy), i used to live here too! i can be such a sentimental sap. this is rachel's university hoodie from swansea. that's in wales. she let me borrow it. i wore it to the corner shop with my leather jacket, jeans and bedhead to get milk, coffee and blueberries before she woke up saturday morn. i felt like a local. i saw the green grocers too. i used to live here.
ohmygoodnessbabiesilovethemespeciallywhentheirlittlebottomsfitinthepalmofyourhand. i think he's about to yawn in this photo. or sneeze. i was tickling his cheek before. maybe i shouldn't have done that. so sweet, little noah. good name. solid name. i changed his diaper too.
you can't take me anywhere. true to form, rachel successfully documents a gong show.
oh, we're not done yet. dinnerpartynumbertwo. such another great night. i'm a big fan of dinner parties. dinner parties involving red wine. and people you like. yes. that's about right. i ate so much though.
vineyard sunday morn. great morning. great worship. great message. great ministry time. great. great. great and God is good. great even. better than great. awesome.
afterwards some of my small group members went out for lunch at ludo's. oh, the food i've consumed this weekend. d-e-t-o-x.
thanks to rachel for being such a great friend. great person, really and her family. and my vineyard family too. i won't wait this long the next time to visit. best. weekend. ever.
