a sunday afternoon

rachel and i wandered christchurch sunday afternoon. there was a carnival with a dog show. we stuck around for a few rounds and giggled when the judge announced the next round would be the prettiest bitch round. after the waggiest tale round we left to wander some more. here's some highlights:

this little guy was one of my favs. he was so patient waiting for the judges to come round and give him a pet.

and the winner of the prettiest bitch goes to...

definitely not this guy, because this round was the oldest geezer round. i then proceeded to fall in love with this one. i've seen these dogs before and i have no idea what they're called. but, i love 'em. i want one.

oh man, soooooo sweet. he's like the eeyore of dogs.

we left the dog show after we figured out a lot of the dogs were re-entering other rounds and it got a little redundant. so, we went for a walk and saw this pretty intense tree.

and stumbled upon some ancient ruined castle. no biggie. they're like, everywhere in this country.
