the solent.

i fancied (man, i'm turning english) a bit of a drive (geez) and followed the coast from christchurch today to milford-on-seas. i packed some lunch, grabbed my camera and went exploring in the afternoon. it was overcast, but not raining. typical.

the english weather wouldn't stop this lot. it was heartwarming to see families out on the beach, kids swimming and people kite-surfing, boarding, etc.

it was a bit windy tho.

and i apparently lost my left leg.

and a ghost took this photo of me.

watched this guy kite-surfing. he was kinda cute. and he knew i was watching him. ha. i talked to my mom for half an hour at this point. that was nice.

hey there.

gah. this place is beautiful.

i'm curious to know what underwater obstacles means. anybody? ideas?

who's birthday is it?

the middle of the picture...those rocks...they look like a loch ness monster...these are the the needles, isle of wight. i couldn't get over how close the isle of wight is to the mainland. hurst castle is just to the far, far left too (can't see it) and this was henry the eighth's defense castle. bit of history for ya. also, the waves were c-r-a-z-y. intense...and the salt spray hit my face. it was pretty awesome.
