the prince and duchess came to round to view the staffordshire hoard on friday. that's kinda exciting.

it's my birthday tomorrow. that's also kinda exciting.

enjoyed some fish, chips and mushy peas in leek with nan. i was asked by the man behind the counter, "are you visiting us here?" to which i replied, "uh, no. actually, i'm living here." it was a profound moment.

sweet leather find at the oxfam charity shop.

afternoon stroll at stanley pool.

don't ask.

and then i woke up to this the next morning. and, i asked myself...are you sure, hayley you're not in canada?

What are the mushy peas like? They look kind of gross. How's the fish and chips? I had some in London and they sucked...
Love ya,

you're right, sarah! it was the sport relief show. my nan and i had a right laugh. i think his performance was my favourite. it takes a strong man to get up and do that on national television!!! did you see the show?

christa - the fish and chips were awesome. i couldn't eat all the chips and i took some of the fish home. mushy peas are kinda like mashed potatoes. that type of consistency. they're pretty flavourless...so i added a lot of pepper and some salt. they're nothing to write home about...but i ate them first as it was the only vegetable.
