'but i'm not in the crash position!!'

don't worry. i'm still alive. it's just been a busy week.

but a good week.

highlight number one. seeing comedian/writer/actor mr. stephen merchant perform stand-up. i gathered some guts after the show and asked him for a photo. he's lovely. and very tall. it's how i like it.

and afterwards i had to look up to him to say, thank you.

it was awesome.

this was my second time seeing him perform live. i would say seventy-five percent of his material was taken from those pre-tour tryouts last year in london, but never you mind...i still laughed my ass off. and, i had a permasmile the whole way through. oh steve. you warm my heart.

the opening comedian was female and as soon as she started talking, i looked to my friend and said, she's canadian! i know it. then the woman says, i'm from sarnia, which kinda sounds like narnia...

so, after the show i asked the usher if i could say hello. i told her it was my patriotic duty. i don't think she got it. anywho, katherine ryan is the comedian's name and she came out and we chatted about southern ontario and what it's like moving to the uk. she encouraged me to get a british passport. i told her to come to lewes. she was sweet.

what else happened...

i walked denver.

i got a hair cut

courtday.

andiboughtaplanetickethomeforchristmas. got a cheap one, considering it's christmas. the countdown is on.
