i dance and i sing...i'm a monkey in a long line of kings - part one

in between laundry, dishes, baking, flight of the conchords and other various domestic-goddess type activities, i am attempting to sort through the mountain of photos i took this weekend and yesterday was full on. i'm currently flat-hunting. enough said.

oh also...be prepared. the self-timer saw a lot of action this weekend. whoever invented the self-timer feature should get a medal. otherwise hayley would have no proof she actually lived here. like how i just threw myself into the third person? i do it when it's convenient and when i want to re-direct attention, responsibility while being non-committal. so predictable, that girl.

and so it begins.

friday dinner at the snowdrop with locale ale.

no carb guilt this time. i'm learning to relax. that's a pesto, portobello mushroom, goat's cheese burger. oh yeah.

sound for the youth event. haven't been around teenagers in a youth-group setting for a loooong time. man, did i ever feel old.

oh, hello saturday...andyourtwentydegreeweather. booyah.

in between viewings i occupied myself on the beach and later...a church graveyard.

yes. that is a hardy's shiraz...in a teacup. classy. that's me. check out the mountain of olives. yeesssss please.

sorry. beach and cigars are synonymous. i blame the literary genius and our maine vacaa of 2007.

shield your eyes from the blinding ankle/foot action. so pale.

okay enough of the beach. i have another few flats to view. and a graveyard to visit...only in england.

look out for part two.
