washing woes.

this is what fighting with your washing machine looks like.

i'm not a happy camper.

i need underwear and socks. stat.

i have my audio-technica headphones on because one can't listen to goldfrapp's black cherry album with crappy macbook speakers. it has to be thick, full and loud. and, because i am such a considerate tenant...i couldn't possibly subject the neighbours to crappy macbook speaker sound either. aha. i realise that might make me one of those pretentious audiophiles. i can't believe i was considering leaving those bad boys behind when i moved here.

pause...

but, what am i going to do about my washing machine? mr. landlord told me to slam the door to make sure it was closed. now i can't get it to open. that's the last time i take direction from a man. i'm totally kidding of course. i love men. just look at my dad…he’s pretty awesome. hey dad! miss you! oh, you too, mom! aha.

and this too (washing machine war) shall pass.

Ha! We had the same door not opening on the clotheswasher problem at my mum's house, Hayley. Ummmmm, sorry... I don't remember how we fixed it. Did you figure it out?

Busy editing black and white photos for my photo essay on Gastown which I am handing in in a couple of days. Whew! 50-odd photos (and some of them really ARE odd) and I am beat! Still gotta get props and food for my food shoot tomorrow.

Lovin' what you're sharin' ;o)

haha is it locked? i know it sounds so simple but i found myself in the same situation when i used the washing-machine-in-the-kitchen-in-battersea for the first time.

hey girlies...yes, i figured it out. i think it was a moment of displayed anger and the washing machine was the recipient. ahaha.

sarah - you are absolutely right. it was locked. there's a button i missed in my stupor that once you push...it aha! opens the door. such a loser. oh well. live and learn, right?
