blogspot is difficult sometimes, so i'm writing my write up at the end of this post. i can't believe i'm sitting in my car outside starbucks. all to use the internet. watch me get mugged or something. so, here are pictures from my sunday afternoon. it was a gorgeous day out and i grabbed the camera and walked the beach, the pier and sat and wrote some cards on a bench along the pier. the first photo is of the street. this is the street i live on. i'm amazed everytime i get a parking spot because it's always such a crap shoot. and...i'm still amazed i manage to park my car because i can't believe the smallest of places i can fit into! it baffles me everytime! this toyota is amazing.
thinking about visiting corfe castle this saturday. last weekend the national trust had a free admission weekend where you could visit these historical sights for free. but, i don't like doing things the easy way and saturday was awful due to the rain.
re-discovered the library. been listening to florence and the machine. saw an education, che - part two, and the lovely young victoria. oh.my.gosh. what a beautiful film about queen victoria and how she came to be queen and married prince albert. you will love it.
hmmm. what else is new? work is still nuts. but, it's stupid nuts. the kind of nuts that let's do everything the difficult way nuts and create more work for ourselves kind of nuts. i think my expectations might be too high. had my first experience with a women's refuge (women's shelter) and was appalled by the "support" they offer to women. lets just say the system doesn't make it easy for women to leave abusive relationships. i'm having a hard time between (a)this is just a job, hayley...just do your job and (b)trying to be an agent of change. don't even get me started on the paperwork. my past workmate warned me about this...she was speaking from experience.
driving is getting better tho. not so many turnarounds are happening. i guess that's a good thing. that's all for now peeps.
