it's taken me awhile to get things to where i want them.
i'm turning this little flat on the high street into a little nest. its super cosy. super cute. it's starting to feel like home.
yesterday was a big moment - the bed arrived. i've waited over a month for the bed to arrive. as i continue to reside in england i'm realising more and more i should not be expecting things to work out on the first go. eight times out of ten, i'm usually shot down. some type of barrier. some hurdle experienced. i used to get upset over this - oh the injustice - it's not rocket science people. but...yeah, not worth it. i save the passion for other things...like courtday.
but, this blog is not about that. tangent. you'll notice a lot of whites, greys, pale purples and steel blues. i am in love with white. i find it calming. when i come home i can't handle additional things demanding my attention. and that includes furnishings. i think this means i'm getting older.
welcome.
i still could use a coffee table tho.

Loving it Hayles :) Thank you for sharing!
The white fetish continues!!!!!! I just decided the main living and kitchen areas in my new heritage apartment will be "Snowfall" and the bedroom a soothing "Celtic Grey". Am toying with the ida of painting the ceiling in a small enclosed hallway a hot fusica pink... sort of an unexpected shocking surprise when you get further into my home...But I'll let that one percolate for now ;)
Oh I don't know. What's wrong with the cardboard box "that ticks all the boxes"? It's kind of snazzy!
The flat looks really good, Hayley. Maybe you just need a bigger box for a coffee table.
Looks like your staying a while?
looks like it, becks! although i'm seem to be having a hard time 'admitting' it to myself. ha.
i agree with white! when i move to a more permanent residence i want white to throw up all over it! looks great love. xx
NOW I get the "I could see for miles, miles and miles" post. Thank you Hayley's Mom!
