river, an ocean, a wave in my heart.

i love airports. i love the approach. the excitement. planes flying overheard. finding parking. navigating signs. elevators. luggage. other travelers. passports. coffee. arrivals.

i also love the anticipation of seeing someone you haven't seen in awhile. i saw dad first. then mom. then i started crying. frig, i really do live in england.

dad hit his second and third wind during the three hour road trip to nana's.

mom was flaking out. she told us she felt like she'd been hit by a truck...not a bus. dad and i clarified.

it was at this point mom shouted, NEW HAMPSHIRE. no, just the m6 toll, mom. it's where you can sail along at eighty-odd miles AND bypass birmingham. score.

the brains of the operation and the only one not jet-legged. at your service.

almost there, nana. almost.

stayed tuned and peace out.
