one hasn't lived until one has racletted.
it was a multinational event. reps from south africa, canada, the states and england. there was eight of us, all huddled around this hot, marble slab of a thingie.
we made many dishes. including omelettes.
here's the aftermath. it was kinda like last man standing. i give the american props for being the last woman standing. the south african took the title. and then we smoked cigars in the garden.
but, prior to all that...the american and i went for a picnic.
being canadian, public consumption of alcohol is not something i'm accustomed to. however, in europe...it's all systems go.
aha.
this is the back of my soon-to-be-flat. it's the top floor window to the right.
and...discovered the sweetest little independent music shop. their speciality is folk, country, and blues and they tried to sell me fleet foxes tickets for august. DONE.
oh. and i bought a bed too. felt quite the grown-up.
it was a highly productive saturday.
