family outing to st. jacobs farmers' market with the rents.
it was a gorgeous day today.
mom and i tried to find a ripe pineapple. it wasn't happening.
purchased some maple syrup from the sweetest mennonite young man. he seemed so kind, gentle and helpful. i know what you're thinking, yes, hayley...they do exist. kind men, not mennonite people. aha.
inside the market.
i shot quite a bit from the hip today. i like the spontaneity this brings.
curds!
get in my belly!
upstairs.
tickle trunk. the little girl in me loves this stall. the photographer is also a big fan of this stall too.
off to the apple farm. we got lost en route.
i occupied myself in the back seat. some things never change.
sampled a new type of apple, ambrosia.
i offered to stand in the corner and advertise as little red riding hood but the apple people said, thanks, but not today. you can leave now.
then we went home and i made steak & guinness pie and proceeded to starve myself for all-you-can-eat sushi tonight. the end.
