crash down fury red.

went for a five mile walk along the seafront last weekend. england doesn't usually look like this, ie sun. it was a gorgeous day.

and i'm making this into a necklace.

have you ever noticed when you listen to your ipod, when you're out and about, how it removes your awareness? you create your own little world because you can't hear what's going on around you. it's like the music dissolves this awareness, and leaves you a bit inhibited. you're more likely to laugh at yourself, or follow through with a silly idea because you're convinced no one is really watching. you're also more likely to hum to yourself to compensate for the fact that you really wish you could sing but then realise that people around you can still hear something...your humming.

conclusion? listening to your ipod in public is torture.

or something like that.

maybe you don't feel that.

okay, enough about me. beach walk resumes.

wait. i have a funny story. after the previous photo, i forgot the tide was coming in and the wave kept coming and coming. and then i fell over trying to avoid a soaker. here's the aftermath. i was laughing. if anyone was watching they must think, she is nuts.
