having a profound moment as i spend some time with God this morning. i'll let you in. i am seeking true identity in the light of your presence...i am longing to know how you see me.
have a read through and a listen to this song written by brian doerksen and steve mitchinso. i pray it touches you as it's touched me. also, galatians is a good time this morning too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
there's a hunger in this wilderness for your revelation
to hear the words of life that strengthen me
come and show what you've prepared for me
speak your confirmation
show me how i fit into your plan
for when you call my name, i can see again
who you are, and who i'm meant to be
and as you beckon me, i am free to see
who are you, and who i'm sent to be
i am seeking true identity in the light of your presence
i am longing to know how you see me
in the time that you have given me, release the strength to follow
and the grace to be who you say i am
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
God, you are so good. thank you.

I have this song on my "Surrender" CD,which has been in my possession for at least 5 years! It's a Vineyard Music - UK Worship 2000 CD. It says Nigel Briggs, Brenton Brown and Marc James are the worship leaders but doesn't say which one actually sings this song. It says the CD was mixed at Esselle Studios, Brighton by Paul Burton. It also says "Special Thanks to John & Eleanor Mumford, Jeremy Cook and Brian Doerksen for your vision, leadership and encouragement which has made this project possible." Anything else you want to know, Hayley?
