eastbourne

rachel and i went to eastbourne for the day. i had a few flat viewings and she was my second pair of eyes. it's a two plus hour drive. we got through florence and the machine, the joshua tree and queen - greatest hits. rachel was subjected to my singing and car dancing to practically every queen song. ask her and i'm pretty sure she'll tell you body language and i want to break free were the highlights.

solved a mystery halfway between bournemouth and brighton. every week i clear a cobweb between my side mirror and window not thinking that it's really only a band-aid solution. today, while i was waiting for my turn at the roundabout a massive spider (whom we've named, freddie) made his appearance. i said hello to him and that it was nice to finally meet him. i then proceeded to mutter, freeloader, i should just leave you in eastbourne. but then, rachel, bless said no, he's come this far, he's faced such adversity with having to rebuild his web after you've spent week after week destroying it. you can't leave him. and then my heart was changed and thought his perseverance stood for something and it is kinda nice to know that a spider has made his home on the inside my side mirror.

i think it's funny i told you a story about a spider and i've posted pictures of some pigs.

to the sea!

stopped for some much needed lunch. thai.

yummy. styrofoam.

analysing flat number one.

very pretty. a lady told me eastbourne is for the older generation, and brighton is move lively and cultural. i think i'll stick with eastbourne.

me in fifty odd years. hopefully.

a postcard to the person who knows what this is.

I thought I left a comment yesterday but it seems not to have STUCK, I guess. Oh well, I am STILL THRILLED to see that no one else has guessed that the mysterious blue thing Hayley is holding is a face oil-blotting sheet. YES! I get a postcard! I can't wait for the goodness to arrive in my mailbox. I shall wait by it with baited breath. Hayles, you know where I live ;o)
