rugby field. saw some kids running around, chasing each other after my tour of christ church. i love how the ball just emerges from a huddle of men. makes me giggle.
cloisters. my fave!
courtyard.
hallway/staircase to dining room.
waiting for fellow tourists to leave the dining room so i could...
...take this shot. it was impressive. it was dark wood. it was magical. you could smell the past.
and there were plates. lots of them.
check this out.
steward guy saw fellow tourist on the greens and leapt/leaped into action.
and told him where to go...with his finger.
as you were.
entrance to church.
christ church.
a six foot
hmmm, looks like he's been there for a while. maybe not.
this is pretty. reminds me of the furniture my grandad made.
just in case you forgot...i'm still in england.
love this photo. love that the hymm/song book is called 'anthems'. that's awesome!
oh yeah. here's the little rugrats in action.
st. mary's church.
how long do you reckon this bike's been chained to this iron fence?
radcliffe camera.
these flats have seen better days and my feet seemed to hurt (paper thin soles) on the cobblestone.
grabbed a salad and some half-price pineapple slices from sainsbury's and sat on a park bench along the river cherwell. a lone swan made a beeline for me when he saw the hand-to-mouth action so i stared him down and he left. smart swan. those pineapple slices were mine.
head of the river pub by folly bridge. really pretty beer garden/patio.
my nose looks fat when i do this.
that's better. much better.
thanks for stopping bye. you've seen oxford.

Wow! That's one heck of a long blog post! I think the sign says "6 foot,6 inch knight".... but who's counting? Does Oxford University have a school of social work? If they do, could you go take a course just so I can brag that my daughter went to Oxford?
my mom...the chief editor of my blog. i fixed it. thanks! hmm...masters social work program at oxford. i should look into it. but, i think you remember my hypothesis about uk post-grad education. i'll stick with getting my masters in canada. haha.
