cousin laura and i hung out today.
we went for a carvery and then sat outside in the beer garden to catch some sun.

then it was the three and a bit hour drive (depending on how fast i push half pint down the motorway).

i took the m6 toll this weekend for the first time and shaved off a lot of construction, reduced laneage and speed restrictions. once i hit oxford, i got stuck in traffic for five minutes, and i got bored. so i texted the knitter and took some photos of my surroundings. realised the lorry drivers got a good view of my hiked up skirt as it was warm in the car and there's no a/c.
and to prove the incredibly warm day we had today, here's the temperature. please ignore the dust. i do.
