introducing...dave.

we got on like a house on fire.

with a name like dave, no wonder he thinks he's a person. his owner said dave and i could hang out any time we want. i'm thinking long walks on the beach are in store. something tells me i don't think dave would argue.

i've always wanted a dog, but was never allowed one growing up. i got a rabbit instead. a rabbit with an attitude problem; she grunted. and i had a goldfish. bryan was his name. why bryan, i'll never know. i was four years old. bryan was probably the name of my imaginary friend. i do remember having an imaginary friend. hey, i'm an only child. i was desperate for some sibling interaction. it was bound to happen. so, now i get to live out my dream of having a dog through dave. poor dave. he has no idea what he's in for.

today was a holiday. no workies pour moi. i went to the nearby town, christchurch and toured the priory. and, of course i had to take pictures.

and the inside.

then it was time for lunch at the cafe, cheese & alfies. they got a good review in a local magazine. i ate outside in the sunshine and wrote mom's mother's day card. sorry if it's a bit late, mom.

back to work. sigh.
