observations.

standard inseams for jeans in canada is 32 inches. standard inseams for jeans in england is 30 inches. conclusion: the english are short.

the canadian person says, "i need a washroom".
the english person says, "i need a wee".

tk maxx is the english doppelganger of my favourite store, winners.

the english seem more comfortable using their terms of endearments. i could get used to being called, “sug” and “love” by the englishmen.

i received my bank card the other day and it has a visa logo on the bottom right corner. so, i ask my cousin, “is this my credit card?” no, she says, it’s your debit card. confused, i say, “but it has the visa logo on it…it must be my credit card.” no, she says, it’s your debit card. is anyone else confused? A debit card that has the visa logo on it…but it’s not a credit card. huh?

while i’m on the topic of credit cards. what is with the english not accepting credit cards? the grocery store, no. my car insurance payments, no. i educated the gas station clerk today when i insisted on swiping my credit card. she asks, there’s no chip and pin with your card is there? no, i said, it’s a credit card – all I need to do is sign. geez louise people.
