abstracts and air pressure

hey there.

so, the rachel zoe project is growing on me and i'm finding it quite endearing. she had a meltdown this episode, saw some real emotion and on top of all that, her uncle died, it was her and roger's 10 year wedding anniversary, her dad and sister came to visit and upcoming oscars chaos was in full force. i don't know how this woman does it all. she's constantly sipping a starbucks, fiddling with her blackberry and getting her make-up/hair done. however, having said all that, i find the relationship between her and roger completely adorable yet strangely...normal. in tonight's episode they fought about compromising work/personal issues, but the end scene was them, at a restaurant, toasting their marriage and being really candid. as much as i don't get how this woman lives...i am fascinated by how they love and interact with each other. it's cute. and, i love that his name is roger. he's also got great hair.

in other news, the departures - volume 1 soundtrack is quite enjoyable. i purchased it from itunes and i've had it on repeat all weekend. the idea of listening to music with lyrics now is a bit of a challenge for me to consider at the moment. i think that's strange. thank goodness i can continue to indulge my chillout-ness via jet city lounge - groovera radio. but, back to departures...my current favourites are open shores for it coldplay-esque vibe and prolong for its brooding moodiness. get on with it makes my ears feel like i'm dropping air pressure and i need to yawn to get them to pop. i don't know if that was intentional...or if i'm just a freak. probably the later. anywho, if you've seen the show what feels like a ca-bililion times, you might recognise episodes based on the music as you listen to the soundtrack. i've experienced this first-hand and it feels a little freaky. but, then again...we've already established i'm a bit odd, so it just might be me...which lets face it, wouldn't surprise me either.

how is it ten-thirty already? gotta go be horizontal. peace out.
